Job Summary
As a General Pick and Pack associate, you will play a crucial role in our distribution center, ensuring the timely and accurate fulfillment of customer orders. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will be essential in maintaining the smooth flow of goods through our logistics network.
Key Responsibilities
– Pick, pack, and prepare products for shipment according to customer orders
– Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with inventory management
– Operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, to move and store products
– Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and safe warehouse operations
– Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies
Qualifications
– Previous experience in general warehouse or distribution center operations
– Familiarity with inventory management and order fulfillment processes
– Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, both independently and as part of a team
– Proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred
– Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Working Conditions
This position involves standing for extended periods, lifting and moving items, and operating material handling equipment. The work environment is a climate-controlled warehouse setting.
Compensation and Benefits
This is a contract position with a target pay rate of $16 per hour. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plans, and paid time off.
