Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Electronics Repair Technician to join our warehouse operations team in Phoenix, AZ. In this role, you will be responsible for testing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electronic components down to the component level. The ideal candidate has strong technical aptitude, excellent analytical skills, and experience working with electronic testing equipment in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct testing, troubleshooting, and repair of electronic components.
- Analyze electronic issues and diagnose failures down to the component level.
- Read and interpret electronic schematic diagrams.
- Utilize electronic test equipment, including oscilloscopes, signal generators, and voltmeters.
- Perform soldering and de-soldering using both surface mount (SMT) and through-hole techniques.
- Complete repair orders accurately while maintaining productivity and quality standards.
- Handle hard drive devices while adhering to Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) policies and procedures.
- Maintain efficiency and timeliness when completing repair orders and assigned projects.
- Enter repair and testing information accurately into computer systems.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all warehouse safety policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support warehouse operations.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to pass a Technical Aptitude Test (when applicable).
- Strong understanding of electronic circuit theory, component-level diagnostics, and technology systems.
- Experience using electronic test equipment, including:
- Oscilloscopes
- Signal Generators
- Voltmeters
- Skilled in soldering and de-soldering using both surface mount and through-hole methods.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot to the component level.
- Experience handling hard drive devices while following ESD standards.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient computer skills with accurate data entry abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous electronics repair or technical experience.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience training or assisting others with technical processes.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Eagerness to learn and develop new technical skills.
Education & Experience
Candidates should possess one of the following:
- Associate degree in Electronics (2-year degree)
- Equivalent electronics repair work experience.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work in a warehouse environment.
- Lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds as needed.
- Stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
- Frequently bend, twist, reach, push, and pull during daily tasks.
- Perform repetitive physical movements throughout the workday.
