Forklift Operator

1st Shift- M-F 6:00am-2:30pm
$18.52 USD/hour
Job Summary: Responsible for operating Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) equipment for the purpose of moving, locating, relocating, stacking, and counting products/materials. Duties and Responsibilities • Unloads inbound shipments safely and moves product to appropriate locations. • Stacks and stores products in designated areas using a forklift, push-pull, or other powered equipment. • Pulls and prepares products for shipment by ensuring the exact number and type of product is loaded. • Moves product from staging and/or storage areas into trailers and the production floor. • Operates all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following the established warehouse safety standards/regulations. • Immediately report any incidents or accidents involving PIT equipment to a Supervisor/Manager. • Maintains appropriate records and reports to guarantee inventory control and security. • Assists in physical inventories. • Ensures proper stock rotation. • May require performing picking duties in an efficient manner. • All other duties assigned, based on the business the warehouse supports. Required Skills and Experience • At least 1 years’ experience and/or using warehouse distribution equipment. • Maintain compliance with CTDI's PIT certification requirements. • Thoroughness and attention to detail in task completion. • Basic knowledge of computers and MS Office (Excel, and Outlook). • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
