We’re hiring a Production Supervisor to join our team in Aurora! This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys working with people, solving problems, and keeping a busy operation running smoothly.
You’ll be responsible for leading employees, coordinating daily production, monitoring quality and productivity, and making sure the team has what it needs to hit its goals. If you’re a strong communicator who can think on your feet and keep things moving in a fast-paced environment, this could be a great fit.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and support employees working in production, assembly, quality control, and packaging.
- Assign work and help coordinate the daily flow of production.
- Monitor productivity, quality, and daily KPIs.
- Troubleshoot problems and be the first point of contact when issues come up.
- Communicate important updates during shift handoffs.
- Make sure the department is properly staffed and has the inventory needed to keep production moving.
- Train, coach, and motivate employees.
- Address employee questions and concerns and help maintain a positive work environment.
- Complete daily reports and provide performance feedback.
- Work with management and customers to resolve issues and meet service expectations.
- Assist with scheduling, labor planning, and P&L forecasting.
- Promote a safe workplace and make sure company policies and OSHA requirements are followed.
- Take on other duties as needed to support the operation.
What You Bring
- 1+ year of leadership or supervisory experience — warehouse, materials, or distribution experience is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to stay organized and manage multiple priorities.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Comfortable working with employees, management, and customers.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
Even Better If You Have
- Experience in manufacturing, distribution, logistics, technical service, or a high-volume warehouse environment.
- Experience supervising temporary employees.
- Experience with UKG or Kronos.
- General knowledge of OSHA standards.
