Machine Operator (Edgebander)– 1st shift 
 
The Job Center is now HIRING for Machine Operating 1st shift in Fairfield OH. 
 
Compensation of Machine Operator:
  • 1st Shift: $23/hr 
  • 6am-2:30pm Monday-Friday (OT as needed)
  • Paid Weekly on Fridays
  • Benefits Include: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), and PTO.
Responsibilities of Machine Operator:
 
  • Operate and set up edge banding machines to meet production goals.
  • Maintain machines to ensure proper operation.
  • Read instructions, blueprints, and material specifications.
  • Measure and inspect finished products to ensure quality.
  • Report defects or quality issues to the supervisor.
  • Keep the work area clean and follow safety rules.
  • Reduce waste and help improve workflow and efficiency.
  • Work with the team and perform other assigned duties.
 
Requirements of Machine Operator:
  • Ability to lift, push, pull and/or up to 50 lbs continually
  • Experience using hand tools
  • Previous experience operating manufacturing machines
  • The ability to read a tape measure
