The 8 Emotional Stages of the Job Search

At one point in your life, you will search for a job. Many of us will search for multiple of them. New jobs come with opportunities to learn and grow; however, they also come with emotions of uncertainty and anxiety, which we may not be used to feeling. The positive emotions associated with the job search are equally balanced by the not-so positive emotions. The duration of these feelings can happen all in one day, a week, or even a month.

You will be faced with ups and downs, not to mention the uncertainty of your future. Riley Decker Companies, The Job Center, and MOR Talent Solutions are here to help you manage and navigate those feelings! Reach out to one of our trained recruiters/staffers for advice. Remember, it is completely normal to feel this way!
