The Job Center is a light industrial staffing company dedicated to connecting people with opportunities and helping businesses find the talent they need.
- For Candidates: We place thousands of individuals into light industrial and skilled trades positions, including warehouse, distribution, forklift, and general labor roles. Our goal is to help you find a job where you can make an impact.
- For Clients: We partner with companies that are ready to hire, providing skilled, reliable candidates to meet your workforce needs. Whether you’re looking for temporary staff, direct hire, or large-scale staffing support, we help you build the team you need to succeed.
With 20 locations across 9 states and growing, The Job Center is committed to serving both job seekers and employers.
As a potential associate, it costs you nothing. We develop a contract with the companies we work with, allowing us to provide a service that is free of charge to you.

The Job Center’s standard hours are 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday. Lunch and weekend hours vary by location—check your local Google listing or Facebook page for the most current schedule.
You can fill out an application at any of our Job Center locations or on our website! If you apply online, you will be contacted by a recruiter to schedule a time for you to come into our center to complete the application process. If the application is completed at one of our centers, we encourage you to stay for an interview. If it is completed online, we will contact you to schedule a time for you to come down to a local center for an interview. During this time, we will discuss your job history, shift preference, availability, skill set, expected salary requirements, type of work you are seeking, and how you heard about us. We will also process documents allowing you to start as soon as possible. This may include W2, I-9, background authorization confirmation, drug test authorization confirmation, direct deposit form, and benefit enrollment information. Lastly, we will discuss positions with you that best match your request and qualifications.
You can start the application process online or by visiting one of our offices. To complete your application in person, please bring your work-ready ID(s) with you.
There are several ways you can access your W2s! You can log in to your Job Center account or download our TJC Mobile App to access and view your W2s. When you begin working with us you may also opt-in to receive your W2’s by email. Sign into your Job Center account or Download our TJC Mobile App!
Contact your local Job Center representative and then they will call and confirm to clarify and reissue the document through email. You will then electronically sign it and send it back through email! Don’t know who your local contact is? You will get paid on Friday for the week period you worked the previous week! Please note, that this means that your first paycheck will be issued the second Friday that you work.
Holiday pay is determined by the client you are placed with. Please contact your local Job Center representative for details about holiday pay for your specific assignment.
After you accumulate 1,500 consecutive hours in your position, you earn 40 hours of paid vacation. You can choose to either take this time off or continue working during your vacation and receive both your regular pay and vacation pay.

You will receive an email including your paystub before you get paid that includes how many hours are on it!
Holiday work depends on what client of ours you are working for. Please reach out to your supervisor at the client or your Job Center representative to figure out if holiday work is required at your company.

All of our positions require on-site work at this time.
Yes, if you perform well in your job there are opportunities to receive pay increases and position changes depending on the client and what needs they have.

Yes, all of our locations have free parking or you are reimbursed for parking.
We do provide training depending on the job you are hired for.

A 401(k) program is offered but it will depend on how many hours you have worked and the time of your employment to qualify.
