Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Warehouse Lead to join our team in Goodyear, AZ. This role is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations while ensuring shipping accuracy, inventory integrity, and compliance with customer requirements. The ideal candidate has previous warehouse leadership experience, strong auditing skills, retail compliance experience, and exceptional attention to detail.
This position plays a key role in overseeing daily warehouse activities, verifying order accuracy, and ensuring shipments meet customer expectations before leaving the facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Process shipping and receiving documentation accurately and efficiently.
- Receive, store, package, label, and ship freight according to company and customer standards.
- Verify inventory accuracy and maintain inventory integrity.
- Utilize barcode scanning equipment to track inventory and shipments.
- Oversee daily warehouse activities for assigned accounts or departments while assisting with staff coordination and workflow.
- Support the development and growth of assigned customer accounts in partnership with sales and management teams.
- Perform detailed audits of orders and inventory to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Review customer orders and verify product quantities before shipment.
- Inspect mixed pallets and adjust product quantities to match daily order requirements.
- Identify and correct quantity discrepancies before orders are shipped to customers.
- Ensure all retail compliance standards and customer-specific shipping requirements are met.
- Maintain accurate warehouse records and documentation.
- Promote a safe, organized, and productive work environment.
- Assist with training and supporting warehouse team members as needed.
- Follow all company safety policies and operational procedures.
- This position does not operate powered industrial equipment or other power equipment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse lead, warehouse coordinator, or similar leadership role required.
- Retail compliance experience required.
- Experience performing inventory audits and shipment verification required.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify inventory and order discrepancies.
- Experience with shipping, receiving, inventory control, and warehouse documentation.
- Familiarity with barcode scanning systems and warehouse management systems (WMS) preferred.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable attendance and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
- Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull materials up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and perform repetitive movements.
- Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures.
- Ability to perform detailed visual inspections of products, labels, and order quantities.
