General Warehouse -Part time

The Job Center is currently hiring Part-Time Warehouse workers for a leading logistics operation in the Louisville area!

Shift: 2:00pm – 7:00pm Wednesday – Friday + OT As Needed

Compensation of Warehouse associate:
$17.00/hour

Responsibilities:
• Unload and unpack shipments
• Process inbound inventory and stock materials
• Scan and shelve parts accurately
• Pull and prepare orders for shipment
• Perform data entry into computerized inventory systems
• Maintain inventory accuracy and control
• Utilize barcode scanning equipment
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Follow all customer and company policies and procedures
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members

Requirements:

• English required
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a warehouse environment, including cooler/freezer

 areas as needed
• Dependable attendance and punctuality required
• No phones allowed on the warehouse floor
• Must pass a compliant background check prior to starting (No Theft, Violence, or Sex Offense convictions)

Schedule Expectations:
• Weeks 1-3: 5 hours per day, 3 days per week
• Weeks 4-5: 8-hour days, Monday-Sunday
• Week 6: 8 hours per day Monday-Friday and 5 hours on Saturday
• Week 7: 5 hours per day, 3 days per week
• Week 8 and beyond: 5 hours per day, 3 days per week

• Cold suits will be provided when working in cooler/freezer areas
• Closed-toe shoes required (T-shirt, jeans/khakis, and sneakers permitted)
