The Job Center is now hiring 1st shift General Shop Help in Cincinnati area.
Compensation/Shift/Benefits offered of General Shop Helper:
- 1st shift: $22.27 per hour
- Mon-Friday 7am-3:30pm
- Paid Weekly on Fridays
- Benefits Include: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), and PTO.
Responsibilities of General Shop Helper:
- Perform manual material handling and production support across manufacturing and service departments.
- Assist Machine Operators with machine setup and production tasks as directed.
- Handle, transport, and organize raw materials, parts, supplies, tools, fixtures, dies, and equipment.
- Load and unload trucks; count, weigh, transport, and store materials in designated areas.
- Load and unload materials from conveyors, racks, containers, and processing equipment.
- Deliver materials and parts to manufacturing departments as needed.
- Clean and prepare materials for production.
- Follow standardized work methods, safety procedures, and department guidelines.
Requirements of General Shop Helper:
- Must be able to walk, push, and pull for the duration of your shift
- Ability to follow directions
- Ability to bend, reach, stoop, push, pull, and perform repetitive movements
- Ability to lift up to 25-50 lbs consistently
- Reliable attendance and ability to report to work on time
