Job Overview
We’re looking for a detail-oriented Load Checker to help make sure outgoing shipments are accurate, complete, properly labeled, and ready for delivery. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, staying organized, and working as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
What You’ll Do
- Verify outgoing shipments for accuracy and completeness
- Label and package products according to company standards
- Check loads and resolve discrepancies with the warehouse/plant team
- Maintain accurate shipment records
- Follow all safety and quality procedures
- Communicate effectively with team members and help keep shipments moving on time
What We’re Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work outdoors and in changing weather conditions
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
Preferred: Precast/concrete industry experience, warehouse management system experience, or forklift certification.
Working Conditions
This is a hands-on position in a concrete/precast environment. You may work both indoors and outdoors and will be exposed to concrete dust, noise, bright or dim lighting, and varying temperatures. Hard hat, steel-toe boots, and other required PPE must be worn.
