As a potential associate, it costs you nothing. We develop a contract with the companies we work with, allowing us to provide a service that is free of charge to you.

What are the center hours?

The Job Center hours are 8 am to 5 pm Monday through Friday, with some centers closed from 12 pm to 1 pm for lunch, as well as some centers having Saturday hours. Check the local Google listing or Facebook page for each center for the most updated hours.

You can fill out an application at any of our Job Center locations or on our website! If you apply online, you will be contacted by a recruiter to schedule a time for you to come into our center to complete the application process. We are hiring for Rod Mill Operator (D1/D2)

The Job Center Staffing is hiring for Rod Mill Operators in West Chester. This is a great opportunity for Temp to Hire.

Compensation/Shift/Benefits for Rod Mill Operator

· Hourly wage: $19/ +$.75 after training

· Shift: Monday–Friday 12am–8am / will train on 1st shift

· Benefits include: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), PTO

· Eligibility for the Work and Win program – Rent/Mortgage paid for a year

Responsibilities of Rod Mill Operator

· Sets up and strings up the rod mill for production

· Operates rod mill to draw copper rod into various wire gauge sizes

· Stages coils, loads payoffs, and welds coils together

· Sets up coiler, stages empty stems, and removes completed stems

· Monitors and maintains drawing dies and drawing solution

· Logs production output and downtime in the OHM system

· Maintains housekeeping and safe work practices in assigned work area

Requirements for Rod Mill Operator

· Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and push 500 pounds reels

· Ability to bend, stoop, stretch, and reach as needed

· Ability to work assigned shift and overtime

· Experience with machine operation and Basic Computer Skills

· Ability to operate powered industrial equipment

· Good attendance and reliability
